The Succour for Women’s Care Foundation, an NGO established as a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of the Daughters of Destiny Interdenominational Fellowship held its first outreach programme on the 8th day of May 2014.
The Vision of SCWF is ‘transforming lives and affecting destinies for better by providing medical intervention, outreaches, and empowering women socially and economically.
The medical event was targeted at Women and there were various diagnostic tests ranging from Papsmear, Breast Examination, HIV/Aids, Blood Sugar, Cholesterol, Blood Pressure to Visual (Eye) Screening. Service providers include LASACA (Lagos State Aids Control Agency), PathCare, Citimart, Citadel Optics and a team of doctors from the United States of America led by Dr. Olujoke Jones, a trustee of SCWF.
Daughters of Destiny counseling team were also on the ground to give counsel to anyone who may be in need of such support during the exercise.
